October 21st – 26th is Spirit Week at Locust Valley High School. The Athletic Council has prepared school activities that will provide students, staff, and the community an opportunity to demonstrate school and community pride and spirit. A Western theme accompanies Homecoming this year in LV. All students and staff are encouraged to participate and enjoy the festivities that coincide with Homecoming.

Dress-up theme – Proud to be a Falcon! Go Green Day (wear your school colors)
Senior Picture on Hill (All senior students invited; meet on hill at 1:15PM)
Pep Rally on Football Field (periods 8 & 9) The Pep Rally will end in time for the typical dismissal bus.
Saturday, October 26th
Parade: the parade assembles at Centre Island Beach parking lot at 11:30am. The parade begins at 12:00 pm from Centre Island Beach and travels Bayville Avenue, Bayville Road, Buckram Road, Weir Lane, Horse Hollow Road, and finishes at the high school.
All students/families and staff are invited to participate. Students must submit their name to their class advisor and the name of the driver of the car they will be riding in during the parade.
Upon reaching the school, class floats will line in front of the overhang in the parking lot. Security will direct the floats where to park. No parade vehicle of any type may be driven onto the field. All other parade vehicles must park in the main parking lot.
Football Homecoming Game: Locust Valley Falcons vs Malverne Mules at 2:00 pm.

Tuesday: Field Hockey at Berner Middle School in Massapequa at 6:30pm
Wednesday: Boys Volleyball at Clarke JV 5pm/V 6:45pm, Cross Country at Eisenhower 4:30pm
Thursday: Girls JV Volleyball at 5pm and Girls Varsity Volleyball at 6:45pm - LVHS
Friday: Boys Volleyball at Memorial High School, Floral Park JV at 5pm & Varsity at 6:45pm

For reasons associated with safety and respect for others, students are not permitted on school grounds unless participating in a school/district sponsored activity and under the supervision of staff. Students involved in campus toilet papering or any other matters of disrespect or lacking in cooperation are subject to potential Code of Conduct responses including but not limited to exclusion from activities, detention, and suspension. Compliance with supervision and school grounds guidelines assists in fostering safety for all individuals.
